This project was implemented between July 2012 and July 2014 by the Saxony State Foundation for Nature and the Environment in cooperation with the autonomous club Pogranicze and the Christlich-Sozialen Bildungswerk Sachsen e.V (Saxony Christian Social Education Institute). It is supported by the European Union within the framework of Guideline Objective 3.The aim of the project is to design and implement training relating to new educational programmes and further education in the area of environmental education and management, as well as carrying out specialist events, excursions, presentations and meetings to promote the exchange of experiences and collaboration. In this was environmental educators can develop the required competence and specialist knowledge to improve the processes in their own organisation, and to improve the quality of the education programmes they offer. The emphasis in this project is on training in the area of management on the basis of the newly developed Environmental Education Quality Management System (QMU).A highlight of the project was the Annual TNU Conference 2012 and the Tri-State Environmental Education Conference 2014. All events are held on a bi-lingual basis and are open to everyone working in the area of environmental education.
